CFCF

Ouch, i missed out on getting a new find out on Friday. Darn! Owell I'll hit you up with a double header. I spent most of today watching martial arts movies or something to do with martial arts. From Bruce Lee to Steven Seagal. I have to say it was my obsession back when i was twelve. Sadly, i had no real desire to fight or to learn some form of defence. I was good at making friends and avoiding having to make enemies.

How this relates to CFCF... i have no idea. But if you find one make sure to comment. I've known of CFCF for awhile, a long time before he was hyped up by pitchfork or any of the popular voices. I believe once any artist hits pitchfork status they tend to get a bunch of followers... similar to the Oprah effect. There is nothing wrong reaching this kind of fame because for once great musicians get paid and can pursue their craft without having another job just to support their it.

With his unique, specific samples or presets and  musical style, CFCF manages to capture the listeners emotions and sucks him into his musical masterpiece. My personal favourites include tracks like: Sogni rossi, Invitation to Love, and Snake Charmer. I really enjoy his covers and remixed tracks of other great artists like Sylvian & Sakamoto, Femme, and Cassie. There are many others, So check out his tracks, maybe buy an album or two, become Myspace friends and i bet he enjoys the odd comment or fan letter. I'll leave you with a few tracks.
